Förbundet informerar om biverkningar av tandvårdsmaterial, ger stöd till medlemmarna och arbetar för så riskfria tandvårdsmaterial som möjligt. Den största framgången är förbudet mot amalgam som trädde i kraft 2009.
- Korrekt information om risker för biverkningar av material inom tandvården.
- Mindre riskfyllda tandvårds-material och tekniker.
- Helt metallfria tandvårdsmaterial.
- Att alla tandvårdsskadade ska ha rätt till samma vård som gäller för andra sjukdomar.
- Att sjukvårdens högkostnads-skydd ska gälla sanering av tandfyllningar, stift, rotfyllningar och implantat samt byte av proteser om risk för biverkningar föreligger.
